The Power of Your FHLBank Chicago Dividend: Q4 2017
The Dividend ImpactOn October 24, 2017, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago) declared a dividend on B1 activity stock at an annualized rate of 3.30% and on B2 membership stock at an annualized rate of 1.25%. To maximize member value, the FHLBank Chicago increased the B1 activity stock dividend paid during three consecutive quarters (Q1 2017 – Q3 2017), offsetting a member’s advance costs. Figure 1 below shows the recent history of our dividend rates and the corresponding "all-in" rate.
