FHLBank Chicago Phone System Transition – Limited Availability 4:30 p.m. Today
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago) is transitioning to a new phone system over the weekend. All landline phone calls and Microsoft Teams meetings with FHLBank Chicago staff will abruptly end at 4:30 p.m. CST on Friday, April 23, 2021. Phone service and Microsoft Teams will be restored over the weekend.
Please ensure that any business needs you have are completed by (versus initiated by) 4:30 p.m. today. This includes wires, advance transactions, collateral, Mortgage Partnership Finance® (MPF®), and any other needs.
While our landlines and Microsoft Teams will be down, your contacts at FHLBank Chicago will still have access to their email and mobile phone lines. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to them if needed. However, your ability to transact with FHLBank Chicago will conclude at 4:30 p.m.
As a part of our phone system upgrades, our members will no longer hear the beeping notification that the call is being recorded. Please note that, as per the Master Transactions Agreement we have with your organization, calls can still be recorded, which helps us correct and rectify any potential misunderstandings regarding transactions.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your Sales Director.
