FHLBank Chicago Offering New Low Loan Balance Pricing Payups for MPF Traditional and Xtra Products
Effective April 14, 2025, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago) will offer a new “Fixed 30 Yr 300K Max Ln Amt” pricing payup under the Mortgage Partnership Finance® (MPF®) Traditional and MPF Xtra® products. While the existing Fixed 30 Year schedules will continue to be available, the additional option may provide pricing advantages for loans at or below the loan amount of $300,000.
As a reminder, Housing Impact subproducts are available for all low loan balance pricing options under the MPF Traditional products. A new “Fixed 30 Yr 300K Max Ln Amt Housing Impact” subproduct is now available via eMPF®.
The additional pricing payups will be available along with the existing pricing schedules on the eMPF website, and will also be reflected in your product pricing engines (PPEs). Additional coordination may be required directly with your PPEs to integrate these subproducts.
The MPF Traditional and MPF Xtra products will continue to offer the same low loan balance pricing options.
Low loan balance pricing options continue to provide your institution with access to expanded pricing on low balance loans, which can help attract new customers and result in increased profitability.
