RFP: Deposit Deposit and Lending System Modernization
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is exploring a modern deposit system that supports member lending activity as part of a planned Request for Proposal (RFP) related to deposit system modernization.
This effort is focused on identifying platforms that can support real‑time deposit processing, strong controls, and regulatory‑grade resiliency for a highly regulated financial institution, including accurate processing and visibility of cash impacts generated by member lending and related products, while aligning with a modular, deposit-focused architecture.
If you meet the requirements below, please submit an expression of interest by emailing [email protected], or by filing out the form below, by May 5, 2026. (reference RITM0179940 Deposit System Modernization – RFP Interest).
We are interested in learning about deposit platforms that can:
- Support real‑time transaction posting and balance visibility
- Provide robust security, controls, and auditability aligned with regulatory expectations
- Integrate via APIs and event‑driven architectures with payment rails and downstream systems
- Support cash activity related to member lending and other Bank products
This notice is intended solely to identify potential vendors interested in participating in future steps of the Bank’s sourcing process.
