New Year's Day | Holiday Hours
FHLBank Chicago and the MPF® Program are not impacted by the recent Executive Order granting additional holiday time off to federal employees. We will continue to follow the operating status of the Federal Reserve and will be open in alignment with their open schedule. Should the Federal Reserve announce any changes, we will update our published hours promptly.
In observance of New Year's Day, FHLBank Chicago and the Mortgage Partnership Finance® (MPF®) Program will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.
Additionally, due to the SIFMA Bond Market’s scheduled early closing on the business day prior to the observance of New Year’s Day, delivery commitments and fundings will not be accepted by the MPF Program after 1:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025. The MPF Service Center will remain open on Dec. 31, 2025, to take calls and answer questions until 3:00 p.m. CT.
